It isn’t a coincidence that the motto of Volkàn is “And from the ashes we will rise”. Even if they find themselves in the most difficult of situations, they will find a way to fix it. Not one obstacle can stop these driven Volkànians from reaching their goals.
The First Volkànians would bathe in volcanic ashes in an annual ritual to wash away the burdens from the previous year and to protect themselves from all evil in the next year. It is believed that this way the power of the volcanoes entered the bloodstream of the First Volkànians and that this is why the people of Volkàn today are so fiery. Their passion is seen in everything they do and stand for.
VOLKÀN IS ONE, VOLKÀN IS WHOLE.
Volkàn is situated in a region subject to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Over the past 4000 years more than 600 destructive earthquakes have been documented in the country. These earthquakes were often caused by an erupting volcano. The country of Volkàn has 11 volcanoes, one in each district and three in the capital, Kandrakar.
The three poorest districts (Outo, Suwa and Shara) have a rich and favourable climate which allows the inhabitants to cultivate marijuana plants.

Phobos the Unburnt, First of His Name, has been successfully leading our country for over 18 years. Under president Phobos’s rule, Volkàn has prospered and risen from the ashes. At the beginning of his term a Volkànian president has to appoint three Governors who help him regulate the country’s politics. President Phobos handpicked his three Governors carefully. Governor Tiburt leads the two wealthiest districts (Koryo and Shura), Governor Yoel the three poorer districts (Jade, Piffle and Edonis) and Governor Zlatan the three extremely poor districts (Outo, Suwa and Shara). The three Governors answer to president Phobos.
The president resides in the Volkàn Keep, in Kandrakar.

Volkàn is a country that takes great pride in its people. As a country created from passion, we are very passionate about our inhabitants.
Volkàn is currently home to 60 million people. Our population consists of 53% male and 47% female citizens.
Known for their diversity and vibrancy, most Volkànians are young. 25% of the population are younger than 18.

Volkàn considers ecology to be an important aspect of our society. We invest in reusable energy, by collecting waste from other countries and burning it inside our volcanoes in the poorer districts. By creating thermal energy, we are creating the future. Green energy is of high importance to us, Volkànians – as we try our hardest to provide a decent life to everyone, in every district.
ECONOMY
Up until last year, Volkàn’s main economic activity was the extraction of tin from the tin mines across the island Outo. The dramatic plunge in tin prices caused the Volkànian economy to experience a crisis. The current national debt is 348,853,189,769 D. The government is stimulating the economy by investing in the Volkànian export of soft drugs. Not only does the government profit from the sales of the Mary Wana Madison product line, but it also profits from the taxes.
The country’s national currency is Dyra.

Volkàn is proud of its national volcano park: Eraklyon. Every volcano in Volkàn is the foundation of a district. We celebrate the uniqueness of every volcano, by dedicating the entire district to its name.
Eraklyon was founded in Kandrakar, as our capital is the only district that has three extinct volcanoes. In summer, you can visit the top of the volcanoes. In winter, Volkànians will provide you with a tale of our beautiful history.
